The Signet Library is situated in the heart of Edinburgh’s “Old Town”. It was design by the architect Robert Reid and completed in 1822 when King George 1V visited the city and described its upper library as “the finest drawing room in Europe”. And it truly is a room of Georgian elegance and style.
If you are looking for the elegant surroundings but with an informal feel then you will certainly find it here – a stunning location with plenty of photo opportunities, it surely a venue your guests will talk about forever! (See packages for smaller parties also)
To include the Following:
Monday – Thursday for 80 persons -
Ceremony from 5:30pm
Reception Drinks and Dinner
- Full Wedding co-ordination service prior, up to and including the wedding day
- A Celebrant
- Facility for the wedding ceremony to take place within the Lower Library followed by reception drinks, dinner and dancing in the Upper Library.
- Table plan, Place cards and Menu cards.
- Cash bar facility
- Three course set menu for 80 guests
- Floor length linen table cloths and Linen napkins - Fine white china - Elegant long stemmed glassware - Contemporary Montiverdi cutlery
- Fully trained service staff uniformed in white shirts, white bistro aprons and ties
- A Traditional Piper in full regalia - from arrivals and up to piping into dinner
- Photographer to be in attendance at the venue for up to 4 hours - to provide 50 High Resolution photographs, edited and colour corrected, photography to be complete before sitting for dinner
- A Seasonal Hand tied bridal bouquet and Buttonhole for the Groom
- 8 elegant low central table arrangements with seasonal flowers and foliage
- Cake Flowers
- Two tier wedding cake, 1 Fruit and 1 Sponge elegantly decorated with flowers to tone with the bridal theme.
All Packages are upgradeable
